We had a great experience with Shirley’s! I called around noon asking about two deliveries locally for a death in the family. They helped me, were friendly, and had them delivered by 3 pm!! Both recipients sent pictures of the big peace lilies and they looked great! Will be using their company again in the future!

The lady ruined the whole surprise delivery by demanding to call my aunt before delivering the flowers. She stated she had to speak with her to make sure she’s home before delivering the flowers. I would not order from them again. My aunts surprise was ruined! Defeated the whole purpose!

I am sorry you feel that we should not have called your aunt before we
attempted delivery to her on the 18th of May but let me assure you that Hastings is quite a distance from us and we simply cannot afford
to leave something by the door if no one is there...it is hot here and there is always a chance that they could have been stolen from her porch..then she would not have had anything. The call is a common courtesy but since you don't appreciate that, you willhave to go through Palatka to get anything else delivered to her because none of the other florist here will go there.

On Friday a beautiful bouquet of cut flowers, balloons and candy was delivered. I must say the flowers are as beautiful today! My son and family sent for Mother's Day, actually I still have a thriving orchid that they sent last year from Flowers by Shirley in St. Augustine and it is healthy and re-blooming now, its a beautiful white. The flowers delivered were beautiful and as described. My only concern is that I received notice they were delivered, however the person receiving them had to call after that to find the flowers that were actually delivered 2 days later from when I received notice. I Al beyond happy they were delivered, however some confusion occurred.

Prompt delivery . Very pretty they didn’t have blue iris so a replacement was added but they didn’t bloom out . No packet to make them last longer . But I was happy with the arrangement. I picked Shirley’s because she’s been in business for decades .

very nice but your apparent lack of a prominent e-mail address is troubling. Maybe I just pick it out. That's the only blockad against doing further business with you and your fine outfit. Numerous Line of Duty Injuries left me disabled. Can't drive. Confined to a wheelchair. Had my 7th post-traumatic brain injury stroke in IL on March 14, 2021 and it left me unable to seak. The flowers looked good upon arrival, even though we were late in arriving home and we had to ask for them to be delivered again. However, we were disappointed that they didn’t last longer. They were delivered on Tuesday and looked quite ooor by Friday.

This is the second time my husband has ordered flowers from here and this, again, is the second time the flowers have been a disappointment. He ordered a $60 Spring Smiles Arrangement. In no way did it ever look like the picture on your website. Absolutely none of the purple irises opened and three of the zinnias were dead within two days. The only flowers left after four days are two tulips, one zinnia, some greens and some miniature marigolds. I love flowers but I asked my husband to never use Shirley’s again:

Flowers were delivered late on Monday, 2nd to last delivery. Florist choice for $150 was one dozen roses, but wait it was in a red vase! Had the wrong card and balloons weren't attached, I figured someone else got my order. Called in spoke to a very rude person and sent the flowers back. After a few emails questioning why I sent them back, I finally got one thats said, oh yes you were right, I had another designer make it and it will be out tomorrow. At 3 pm it finally showed up, the arrangement is pretty but not worth $150. I even tipped the designer and driver ahead of time.

an honest mistake by a new contract driver and the 2nd delivery was
worth more than the 150.00 which we did to compensate for the error

We live in Alaska and have friends in St Augustine who recently suffered a loss so I Googled flower shops in the area. It was easy to order with a few clicks of a button, the delivery was made the day after I placed the order, and our friends sent us photos of the flowers -said it was the most beautiful arrangement they'd seen. i Looked up the arrangement you ordered and the only thing orange in
it was two gerbera...the menu called for yellow button poms, yellow
roses, coral roses and solidago(which is yellow) The designer who made it is not here today but if the gerberas were not orange it was because we didn't have any..things are getting harder and harder to
find.. but everything else in the arrangement was what was on your
order sheet. Since you live here please call us next time and we can tell you whether or not we have what you are looking for.

My husband sent me some nice flowers for our anniversary. Th vase is as very nice but not worth the $80 price tag. There were Zinnas, a tulip, and some greens. What a rip off!

Paid over $100 for an arrangement which looked nothing like the photo, was 85% filler and only 3 roses and a few lilies that weren’t even open. Floral arrangement was very beautiful and chocolates decadent. I’m certified in floral design and very was pleased with the variety of cut flowers, color and foliage. The glass container and ribbon were also extra special in detail and color. I LOVE that you advise your customers to change the water every day. I tell that to everyone who will listen. It works and is so easy in extending the life of the blooms. My only suggestion is to clean your stems more thoroughly. It takes time but is so worth it! I live in San Diego and these were a gift from my husband for my birthday. Huge hit!

The Valentines Day flowers came on time and looked very nice. The problem was they were too tight in the vase and were dying in 3 days and all the roses died in two more days even after putting in a fresh vase.

I paid $160 for a teddy bear, 3 balloons and a bouquet of flowers. The teddy is adorable, balloons very cute. However there was too much greenery and fillers vs flowers and the flowers all died and browned in 3 days. For almost 200.00 I would expect at least a week for flowers to be pretty. I was ordering from out of town and was nervous to use a florist I have never used. The online ordering process was so easy with great communication through follow up emails. My friend sent me a pic of her flowers and they were gorgeous. Better than I could have imagined. Then I received an email to let me know my flowers had been delivered. They were delivered on time as promised. I will definitely use Flowers By Shirley again.

While we like for the arrangements to last longer than 5 days we do not
know what care has been taken of them...were they kept watered, were
they kept out of the window where there was sun? etc. it's a hard call
after they have been delivered

I ordered online, chose what I wanted, was given a price..then went to checkout and a 5 plus dollar service charge, on top of the already agreed to delivery charge...Service charge?..wont order again if present, otherwise 5 star and much appreciated!!

us..if is their fee for processing the order. I am so glad however that

While I know it must be hard to get specific flowers during this pandemic, my arrangement did not look like the picture. The color theme was not correct. I saw premium flowers (rose, lilly) but it was not a cohesive look but rather random looking.

were hard to get...the arrg was made with the right flowers but the colors had to be changed somewhat because there just were not any of that particular gerbera. We hope you will give us another chance and we hope the shortage of flowers will cease very soon. The floral industry is really tight right now.

Placed phone orders with them for years. First time I met the owner today. We were in for funeral flowers, there were 5 of us and she managed to offend us all. Extremely rude and judgmental. Her tone was abrasive, sarcastic replies to questions, eye rolling and then said “we were a problem”. My poor grandma is grieving her son and struggled to make decisions on flowers for the funeral. It was unprofessional and extremely rude. We will never be back and we will be sure to send folks to flower works where they actually care for their customers.

They persevered to get through security gate. Arrangement was very pretty. It was already a bit wilted just after it came through the door. I watered it that first day but it wasn’t fresh looking by that evening. Petals falling off and stems bending, edges of flowers dry and wilted.
The actual arrangement was done very attractively with flower choices and container fun. Too bad the condition of the flowers lacked.

Arrangement was beautiful with a variety of flowers & colors. However quality of flowers was very poor. All three roses drooped by the next morning with some of other flowers not far behind. Basically it was only enjoyable for the day it arrived. That was very disappointing!

Definitely not the same flowers I ordered . Had them selfie Valentines Day so I am sure they were busy , my wife stated the delivery person brought in the first flowers without a name and she knew from orders she has received that those were her flowers , delivery driver went out and brought different ones in without the Balloon which I paid for.

I've ordered 2 times from Shirley's and both times had great bouquets. The first was a pre arranged one you can order online. It was just like the picture. The next was during covid-19 and was a designer's pick under a certain amount (for to limited supplies during covid). This one was beautiful and they incorporate notes you include about types of colors/flowers you'd like. They delivered both times, again during covid-19. The delivery was contactless. Great staff, great service. I will definitely use Shirley's for orders in St. Augustine in the future.

Didn't get the flowers until 3 o'clock, And they were delivered to the front desk. We were on vacation for my wife's birthday. By waiting so long, and having to walk to the front desk, the surprise was ruined. However the flowers were beautifully arranged!! The staff while not knowledgeable, were very friendly!

I have used this shop for years and have always been happy. This last time was very different. I paid $150 for a deluxe Christmas bouquet for my parents, and their cat was literally bigger than the bouquet. I questioned it several times, I sent emails, I called the shop, and I was ignored. ordered flowers for my mother on her birthday call that day to check on delivery at 11 was told waiting to be delivered told them I hope they're delivered that afternoon call back at 3 to check on delivery couldn't give me any info on when they might be delivered call back at 5 was told it would still be an hour or so delivered hour and a half later the day was over the moment was lost very disappointed

I had requested that the plant be delivered on Saturday, as was avail and offered when ordering, but the plant didn’t arrive until Monday. Other than that the experience was easy and the plant was beautiful.

Very important issue. They were beautiful but loaded with g
GOLDEN ROD which I and MANY other people are ALLERGIC to. Florists in Georgia no longer use goldenrod for that reason. Please stop using.
